FishTravel is heading back to John Norris of Penrith for the weekend of Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th October 2026.
I will be there throughout the weekend, so if you have ever thought about travelling somewhere special to fish – or simply want some inspiration for your next adventure – please come along and say hello.
Nowadays, so much travel is arranged by telephone and email that there are relatively few opportunities to actually sit down, have a chat and discuss where in the world you might like to fish.
This weekend is the perfect opportunity to do exactly that.
WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE TO FISH?
Perhaps you already know exactly where you want to go.
Maybe it’s Atlantic salmon in Iceland, giant sea trout on the Rio Grande, golden dorado in South America, steelhead in British Columbia or saltwater fly fishing somewhere considerably warmer.
Or perhaps you have absolutely no idea!
That’s equally fine.
Tell me what you enjoy fishing for, the type of fishing you like, when you can travel and roughly what you’d like to spend, and I’ll happily talk you through some of the destinations that might suit you.
