Sturgeon Slayers specialise in remote Sturgeon fishing in British Columbia, including the canyon section of the Lower Fraser River, Mission, Chilliwack and Agassiz. You will get a fully serviced Luxury Guided experience when you book with them. They can customize an 8-hour guided trip for Sturgeon, Salmon, and Trout and they are only an hour from Vancouver, British Columbia. Depending on your group’s size, they can offer one boat for a smaller fishing group or multiple boats for a larger group or corporate outings. If you can dream up a guided fishing trip, they can do it. They also provide a riverside barbecue lunch, to cater for your day in style.
A typical day with Sturgeon Slayers is an eight hour fishing day. They provide all the equipment you will need and will also provide top quality clothing as needed to keep you warm, safe and dry during the day. The guides are highly experienced and will always be there to help you with the fishing, but also to secure the welfare of the fish – all the sturgeon are strictly catch and release and Sturgeon Slayers are active in the sturgeon monitoring and assessment tagging programme.
Sturgeon Slayers have an incredibly high success rate when it comes to daily hook-ups. There’s no way of controlling the size of the fish that takes, but fish of over 100lb are fairly common nowadays with Sturgeon Slayers recording fish of over 11ft in recent years!
