The flats around Alphonse and St. Francois Atoll offer amazing sight fishing opportunities for bonefish, permit, giant trevally, milkfish, triggerfish and a whole lot more. It is the variety that anglers often visit for, where you could catch a dozen or more different species during the day if you wish.

However, what also makes Alphonse Island unique is that it has plenty to offer your partner, spouse or family if they wish to join. Nonetheless, your focus is on the fishing, and the fisheries around Alphonse Island and St. François Atoll are unlikely disappoint!
Alphonse Island and St. Francois Atoll are some of the most prolific bonefish waters in the world, but during your stay you should also be able to target milkfish, giant trevally, three different species of triggerfish, bluefin trevally and Indo-Pacific permit, to name but a few.
The fishing centre at Alphonse Island arranges both fly fishing and bluewater excursions around Alphonse, Bijoutier, and St. François Islands. Full day guided fly fishing packages are available to St. François, whilst half or full day guided fly fishing packages can be booked around Alphonse Island itself – this can be some of the best fishing, right on your doorstep.
Offshore bluewater fishing is also available on a guided full or half day basis. The Alphonse fishing centre boasts a team of some of the most experienced guides, captains, and deckhands in all of The Seychelles, with the talented team members drawn from across the world.
Bluewater anglers can look forward to targeting Indo-Pacific sailfish, dogtooth and yellowfin tuna, barracuda, wahoo, and dorado. The fishing centre features a fully stocked fly and tackle shop to cover all your fishing needs.
