Tres Valles is located in the remote area of Rio Pico, on a beautiful family run and owned Estancia. There is an abundance of trout fishing to explore within the area; both rivers and lakes. Rainbow trout, brown trout and brook trout / char are the target species.Â

Fishing
There is a great variety of fishing opportunities open to you at Tres Valles, such as; spring creeks, freestone rivers, along with a myriad of lakes. This variety enables Tres Valles to make every fishing day different and give you the chance of catching wild trout in all of them.
Every day you get to choose with your guide where to fish, which will depend on; the weather, the fishing conditions and personal preferences. This can vary from fishing the Rio Nilson, Rio Pico, or even the famous Rio Corcovado, one of the only places in the world where brook trout / char reach incredible sizes.Â
This area of Patagonia has over 20 lakes and many spring creeks, some of which are within Estancia Tres Valles, giving you private and exclusive access to them. Such diversity of water gives you the chance to experience dry fly fishing, nymphing and streamer fishing from a boat or by wading on the same day, all depending on your preferences.

accommodation and pricing
Tres Valles is two and a half hours from the Esquel airport, where you can be collected from. The season runs from the 1st of November through to the 1st of May. Throughout the season fishing conditions change making each month unique and special to fish a certain place and style, for which each program is custom made to make the most of your time and trip.
The lodge accommodates eight guests per week in four rooms. All rooms are very elegant and have a private deck to enjoy the incredible views over the lake and Andes. Each room is en-suite with it’s own bathtub overlooking the mountains, and every detail has being thought of for your comfort and convenience.
Every space of the lodge has being planned and decorated with distinguished originality, creating a great atmosphere. The sitting and dining rooms and all common areas, like the reading room, fishing room, breakfast nook, cinema room, generate very comfortable and spacious areas with a very warm atmosphere to make everybody feel right at home and to enjoy a relaxed end of the day, sharing fishing stories and appetisers.
The cost of a 7 night stay with 6 full days fishing is US$7,700 based on shared room and guide. Shorter stays are available at a cost of US$1,100 per night, per guest – based on shared room and guide.
